December Project Club Card Samples
For those of you who subscribe to the project Club you will know by now that life has been a little traumatic recently. My older daughter had emergency surgery for a nasty appendix but thankfully she's recovered well and is back at school. I have now caught up and am getting round to posting the card samples. I have also very nearly finished January's................ and the Christmas Shopping!!
The main image in this months stamp set is a really classy bauble. I rarely use holographic card but how those scraps came in handy this month!! The main card is made using 2 C6 card blanks to make a tri fold card.
The pink girly card uses punched circles of shrink plastic, stamp the circles with the snowflake (I used Brilliance ink) and shrunk to make the baubles.
This little gift bag stamp is so useful and really easy to use.
Finally this month I have used the bauble stamp to make a really stunning card with blue & silver holographic card. Very simply mounted up but so effective.
Take care and a very Happy Christmas to all and many happy crafting hours in 2009!!!!Dawn x

Novembers Project Club
I have been having a few problems with Photobox so decided to make better use of my Blog, so for the time being all the Project Club Cards will be found here.
What a lovely little pussy cat this month!!! The main card is a mini card within a bigger card. This is what it looks like on the outside
.................and this is the inside.
Just a few more card ideas. The card on the left in encased in it's own stamped envelope & how cute are these robins :-)
For something a bit different I made a lovely Advent Calendar using matchboxes and used the stamps to decorate. It was complete with chocolates but how long they'll last I don't know!!!http://www.bubblyfunk.co.uk/article_info.php?articles_id=39
Finally these two cards show how you can use this months stamps with all those others you have in your collection.
Hope you enjoy this months project.Dawn x

OCTOBER'S KIT
Well it's been a while since my last post, my daughter has started secondary school and it's taken me a while to get to grips with having 2 children in 2 different schools. Life is settling down now and I have finished October's kit designs so I have posted a sneaky peak. Don't want to give too much away though!

I also have November's stamps which are lovely - all I will say is Christmas is coming :-)

Card Samples from Ideal World
Thought I would upload my latest samples which were shown on ideal World last Friday. I was so pleased to get a mention on live TV!!! These are my last offerings before I go on holiday.
This set of Christmas stamps is lovely and they make fab cards. I much prefer Stazon as the image is so crisp. Let me know what you think.

I have had this boot stamp from Dimension Fourth a while and decided to make a card with it as the centrepiece. I coloured it using marker pens and then added a clear glaze. The flowers around the outside were stamped and watercoloured using brush marker pens. Two little fairies and a fairy swing finish it off
The second card uses last months project club stamps along with this very cute mole.
Dimension Fourth have brought out some fantastic new stamps which I collected yesterday at Newbury and this mole is included in the new range.
I have photographed my stash below - how I love the smell of new ploymer !!! Sad isn't it :-))
The cats
The dogs & birdhouse
The mice
The moles
The new Christmas stamps
& finally the new dresses

Monday 21st July - and another one......

Well here is my second card for today. The only stamp from August's kit is the 'Eat Cake' stamp which goes perfectly with this lovely little mouse.
I am really into using my circle nestabillities and think I am going to have to invest in some other shapes!!
Yet another shopping spree - my poor bank account :-)

Monday 21st July 2008

Good morning all, this is my first real post on this BLOG so be gentle with me.
I have been busy completing August's Project Club and the cards have come out great. Whilst I cannot post the main cards and images as it will spoil the surprise I have made a couple of other cards to give you a little tease.
First is this cheeky cat. He was originaly holding an envelope but I didn't ink that part and placed a cake from next months stamps in his hand. The little mouse and the sentiment at the bottom are also from next months stamps.

(Just to clarify the cat is NOT in next months kit but there is something as equally scrummy!!)

My First post
Well I've just created my blog and this is my first test post. My aim is to give sneaky peaks for members of Dimension Fourth's Project Club and post any sample cards I make as I never have a lasting momento because they all go to Roy and Aly for the shows.
So I hope you'll enjoy my blog as it develops and I'll try and search out a card or two to post.
